Appearance: Tall and athletic are the features found under his full combat battle-gear. Often seen in it: all black, with patches of leather. Seldom is he in street clothes, and prefers to have his weapons on him most times. Exceptions include, when sleep or at work in his new business. Cloud's blue eyes are also a contrast against the mostly dark outfit choices, and can be seen from afar. All in all, he choses functionality of comfort.

Distinguishing Features: Would have to be his gravity-defying hair. As seen in the picture bellow, it often defies the laws of gravity.

Cloud was a young man who wanted to be in SOLDIER. But though injected with Mako, he lacked the ideal attributes to be in ShinRa and thus became ShinRa MP. But all that changed when his former idol, Sephiroth, lost his mind, resulting with Cloud becoming a test subject for the next few years in the "Sephiroth Copy" project to create a new soldier to replace Sephiroth. Though it was really meant to confirm another of Hojo's theories, the Reunion. However, Cloud was labeled a "reject".

The combination of both Jenova's cells and Cloud's own inner demons caused him to believe that he was SOLDIER. He's mainly quiet, stubborn, and doesn't seem to worry about what's going on around him. As a favor to Tifa, his childhood sweetheart who knew the truth to some extent, Cloud joined AVALANCHE in their anti-ShinRa campaign. Both his standing with the eco-terrorist group and his meeting with Tifa resulted in Cloud learning the truth and facing Sephiroth yet again.

During the two-year period after Meteor, Cloud worked for Tifa in a self-employed company called 'Strife Delivery Service', located in the new 7th Heaven built at Edge which also functions as an orphanage for children affected by the Geostigma. He also left the Buster Sword in the ground on the cliff that Zack died on; the cliff that is right outside Midgar. Cloud's new sword is called First Tsurugi, and it can disassemble into six smaller swords which he stores in the two side-compartments of his new bike, Fenrir. Cloud soon began to close himself from the rest of the world and his close friends, who fought alongside him two years ago. His reason was a combination of his guilt and Geostigma infection on his left arm (hidden under the black cloak). He now resides here.

However, Cloud, with help of his friends, overcame both of these threats to his being when he fought the Remnants of Sephiroth, and Sephiroth himself in a final battle. Until he came here.

Family: All dead by the hand of his former mentor, Sephiroth, now-a-days, he considers his close friends his family. And Midgar his home.
Lovers: None.

Personality: He is mainly quiet and reflective. Usually oblivious to the people around him when he chooses to be, this can be detrimental. Especially when faced with something bad, with leads him to act up on it. Although he rarely admits it, Cloud is often quite withdrawn and introspective. He knows that there is a lot that he does not understand about himself, and this causes him to be irritable at times, and sometimes even to snap at friends. Toward the beginning of his work as an AVALANCHE mercenary, he also has a very large ego pertaining to his skills and his past with SOLDIER. He changes for the better once he realizes that there are bigger problems than himself to deal with.

Anything Else? "Cloud’s bike Fenrir has been given some unique design to it. Since Cloud’s sword composes of several smaller swords, Fenrir has incorporated “slots” inside the bike for his multiple piece sword. The bike opens up on either sides, releasing his weapons, or storing it inside when the weapons are not needed. Fenrir consists of two giant wheels and is black for the most part, except for the golden exhaust pipes extending to the end of the motorcycle.

Cloud’s bike was also interestingly named as well. Fenrir, also referred to as Fenris, was a giant wolf creature in Norse mythology. Fenrir grew so enormous that the gods of this mythology feared the wolf, never having any courage to face him. Instead of battling the wolf, they tricked him into letting them shackle his feet. However, Fenrir was so immensely strong that he broke the fetters with ease. The gods were so terrified that they created a ribbon made from impossibilities: mountain roots, a woman’s beard, the sound of a walking cat, the breath of fish, a bird’s spittle, and the sinews of a bear. The ribbon was powerful enough to restrain the wolf. In revenge against what the gods had done, he bit the hand of Tyr, god of war. The gods chained Fenrir with the ribbon to a rock, and one day Fenrir would break free of the rock, and destroy the god Odin in the battle of Ragnarok, the ultimate battle. Fenrir was struck down by Vidar, Odin’s son, by breaking the jaw of the giant beast-wolf."
